Boyd History

The original ten acres along the Soo Line Railroad, 18 miles east of Chippewa Falls,
was purchased by John W. Cirkel and first settled in 1880.
The Village of Boyd was laid out and platted May 25th, 1881.

COME VISIT THE HISTORY ROOM ...

The History Room is located in the Village Hall at 705 E. Murray,
is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. 
Historical memorabilia and information about the village and its people are on display here.
