Curtiss Tourism

  • The historic Yellow Stone Trail runs through Curtiss.

  • In winter, a well-groomed snowmobile trail which runs through Curtiss. There is an active Snowmobile Club which holds meetings at the Curtiss Community Center, as do the Lion's Club, and the Curtiss Community Club. All three Clubs hold events throughout the year.

  • Curtiss has an excellent food establishment, hotel and bar, Bed & Breakfast, and Churches within the village. A Mennonite Country Store, Quilt and Craft Store, and a Restaurant/Bar are located just to the South of Highway 29, on County Road E.

  • A large yearly Quilt Show, in conjunction with the Lion's Club sponsored Curtiss Days, is held at the Community Center and Curtiss Park, the first weekend in August.

  • The Curtiss Community Center is an old historic school which was built in 1912 and is being renovated. The building is, as its name replies, the Center of the Community.
